Can I buy calcium pills from store like Walmart?

Taking calcium pills purchased from a store like Walmart is not a good idea. Look on the bottle and see what it says about the type of calcium. If it is calcium carbonate, don't buy it, don't put it in your mouth and stay away from it. Calcium carbonate, like antacids, prevent Chromium from being absorbed by your body. The Pancreas requires chromium as it's primary mineral to keep it working correctly. The pancreas provides your body with digestive enzymes, insulin, glucagon, etc. and is a very important organ and must be looked after.

Those pills also contain magnesium stearate that is a TRANS FAT, nutrient absorption inhibitor, and is toxic to the body. 5% of the contents of those vitamins contain this bad guy. The next thing to realize is that most of the ingredients in those vitamin packages are SYNTHETIC CHEMICAL ACTIVATORS, not real vitamins. Your body knows the difference between synthetic and once living sources. Many people get heart problems, cataracts, bone spurs, and kidney stones from taking those vitamins.

Vitamin D3 is a very important thing to have in your blood for many reasons, but taking the kind of D you get in milk and supplements like those found at Walmart is not what you want to put into your body! Vitamin D3 is really a sterol made from cholesterol. It's final synthesis in the body is in your kidneys. Getting out in the sun everyday is a very good idea to generate D3 in your body. There are good supplements you can take for D3, but you won't find them at Walmart!

good luck to you
