What are the health benefits of Garlic?

Garlic has many health benefits and is a proven aphrodisiac. Although garlic can be prepared as part of numerous dishes, for optimum effectiveness, it is suggested that you eat it raw. Ideally, 2 or 3 cloves of raw garlic every day are recommended. Simply chop them up finely and combine them into a salad vinaigrette or add them to a sandwich.

White onion, like garlic, is thought to help enhance the libido and overall sexual health. Carrots are said to be particularly helpful in boosting a man's sexual staying power. It is suggested that 150 grams of carrots be consumed as part of a daily diet. Another vegetable that is considered to have aphrodisiac properties is asparagus. Dried dates and black raisins are both high in fiber and fuel the body with sustained energy. Consuming both with nuts, such as almonds, pistachio, and walnuts can provide an extra boost of protein that works well with the high fiber found in dried fruit. Whey protein may also be helpful in increasing energy, stamina and endurance. Other than that, the best known aphrodisiac is either red Chinese or red Korean ginseng which are c laimed to be the most potent of all ginseng supplements. Other popular aphrodisiacs include turmeric, Mira puama, ginger, chocolate, and damiana.
